Staff Accountant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our clients manufacturing-type environment. This role is ideal for a candidate looking to take ownership of their work and advance their accounting career. The Staff Accountant will play a key role in the monthly close process and manage daily cash transactions, ensuring compliance with GAAP.

salary: $70,000 - $75,000 per year

work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute and manage General Ledger entries and contribute significantly to the monthly close process, adhering strictly to the accrual method of accounting and GAAP.
• Manage all hands-on aspects of Cash Receipts and Disbursements.
• Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail in all accounting functions to ensure accuracy.
• Maintain a "take ownership" attitude toward all assigned duties and projects.
• Actively seek opportunities to advance and apply accounting skills within a manufacturing operational setting.
