Veterinary Receptionist - Experienced

Millis Animal Hospital is an AAHA accredited, full-service animal hospital providing comprehensive veterinary care to the pets of Millis, MA and surrounding areas. We consider our clients and their pets to be part of the family, and strive to serve with compassion, skill and respect. We are a team of animal lovers that strive to provide the best care to our clients and patients. Our hospital has a very welcoming and progressive veterinary atmosphere. Each team member is recognized for their great work and awesome attitude. Currently, we are seeking a new full time Veterinary Receptionist!

Who you are (and why we can’t wait to meet you!) You are a motivated and compassionate veterinary professional! You are a team player who is enthusiastic in helping pets and owners. You are organized and diligent in your work, prioritizing the safety and the wellbeing of the animals we treat. You are used to navigating veterinary software as well as gracefully helping clients in a range of different situations, with different personality types. Your most important job is to present Millis Animal Hospital in the best manner possible and to help us build long lasting relationships with our clients and patients.

Qualifications:

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

1 Year of experience in customer service

Ability to multi-task

Ability to work independently or with little supervision

Ability to answer a multi-line phone system with a high volume of incoming calls

Understanding of veterinary medicine protocols and terminology

Experience and skill with communication across different departments: Doctors, Vet Techs, Reception, and Clients
