Who we are looking for


The Product Manager (PM) - Web Framework is a hands-on business-to-technology focused role and is an integral part of the Charles River platform. The candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate both with business & technical leadership and teams on a daily basis. Working with the engineering team in the agile role of product owner, the PM will create and manage the product roadmap and bring new features and capabilities to market. The PM will develop internal and external relationships that will help drive detailed requirements and prioritization decisions. The PM will drive Cloud native / Web enabled user Interface modules (Web-apps / HTML-5, Angular, etc), requirement analysis, and functional design to ensure our products are modern looking and have the best user experience for our customers. Web Framework is a central role in providing the web components for all business applications and client access channels. The scope of work includes understanding the Web Framework vision and roadmap items, and decomposing them into detailed consumable business requirements, while continually working with both business & technology teams to ensure the alignment, quality and final delivery of features / functionality. The position is located in Burlington, Massachusetts, USA.

What you will be responsible for


As Product Manager - Web Framework you will

  • Thoroughly understand Web technology, cloud native services and architecture to be able to propose, specify, and plan the implementation, integration, and launch of Web (HTML-5, Angular, etc) products and components
  • Gather requirements from internal & external parties (clients, partners, vendors, etc.) and creates business requirements, prioritize based on company objectives, and produce functional specifications / agile stories.
  • Experience with managing Agile scrum teams (including multiple) with an eye towards triaging and project management on a cross-functional basis
  • Ability to develop and manage cross functional processes and project timelines
  • Manage cross-functionally, with engineering groups, business, QA, and designers for a smooth deployment
  • Summarize and present to wider internal & external audience for reviews and decision making
  • Maintain the product calendar and work with engineering to ensure progress according to plan
  • Review stakeholders work, such as UX/UI designers, QA documentation, on an ongoing basis
  • Manage delivery, document, and train relevant parties on your product and components
  • Provide escalation level triage & support where necessary regarding Web Framework issues


Qualifications


These skills will help you succeed in this role

  • Experience in product management for software systems with Web front-end and Cloud native technology
  • Ability to collaborate seamlessly with many different teams including business, technology, UI/UX, QA and support teams and leaders
  • Proven experience in managing development of similar products technical and architectural experience (UX/UI design, coding, tech design)
  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering, computer science, or equivalent, and/or other work experience in a technical setting
  • 8+ years of experience
  • Strong contributor with high motivation, with the ability to take initiative, set priorities and perform tasks with minimal guidance
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in Financial Services is preferred
  • Experience working with remote teams


Salary Range:
$110,000 - $188,750 Annual


The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
