Allied Universal is Currently Hiring a Part Time Security Officer for a Distributor in Boston MA

Monday - Friday 330 PM - 730 PM

Starting Pay is $23.31 Per Hour / Paid Orientation / Paid Training

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor assigned areas, and report security-related concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures and supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating observations to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the distribution facility, perimeter, parking areas, loading docks, and other assigned locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, visitors, drivers, and delivery personnel in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Document and report security-related incidents, irregularities, and maintenance concerns according to Allied Universal and client requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
