Applications Engineer I
The Applications Engineer I provides direct customer-facing support for
system demonstrations, buyoffs, and initial system setup. Interactions include assisting with pre-sales support, configuring machines during demonstrations and buyoffs, and providing initial post-sales support. This role involves learning application knowledge and contributing to the characterization of machine performance.\ Responsibilities\- Conducts initial new machine setup and calibration prior to customer
- Assists in the execution of machine buyoffs, including installation
- Delivers training courses for customers, focusing on standard
- Performs process development for customers when assigned, under
- Provides post-sales process and system support for established
- Contributes to conducting system demonstrations, either with the
- Assists in contributions to system manuals and other forms of
- Participates in the collection and feedback of opportunities for
- Supports senior engineers as assigned.\
- Performs other duties as assigned.\
- Associates or Bachelors Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Software
- Minimum of 1-3 years of process experience in microelectronics;
- Root cause analysis experience preferred.\
- Field service experience is a plus.\
- Ability to work collaboratively with all departments in the
- Strong oral and written communication skills\
- Ability to travel frequently within the US\
