System Administrator
Akkodis is seeking a System Administrator for a Contract with a client in Burlington, MA. The candidate will administer and support Azure environments to ensure secure, reliable, and well‑governed cloud operations.
Rate Range: $55/hour to $57/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
System Administrator job responsibilities include:
Manage and administer Azure resources, ensuring stable, secure, and efficient cloud operations.
Monitor Azure services, troubleshoot platform issues, and implement corrective actions to maintain availability.
Configure and manage Azure storage, networking, virtual machines, and identity services.
Implement security best practices, including access controls, policies, and compliance configurations.
Support deployment, automation, and optimization tasks across Azure workloads.
Collaborate with technical teams to ensure smooth integration of applications and services within the Azure environment.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
8–10 years of hands‑on experience in Azure administration or cloud operations.
Strong proficiency in managing Azure services, including compute, storage, networking, and identity components.
Ability to support Azure ML or related cloud‑based workloads with solid troubleshooting and operational skills.
