Financial Analyst
Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Analysis
• Assist in preparing annual budgets and periodic forecasts by gathering inputs,
analyzing trends, and updating models.
• Support scenario modeling and financial analysis related to pricing, staffing, and
operational initiatives.
• Conduct monthly variance analysis and clearly communicate key drivers of
performance.
• Help maintain and update financial models used for planning and decision-making.
Reporting & Data Analysis
• Compile data for monthly financial and operational reporting packages for senior
leadership.
• Assist in creating executive-ready schedules, charts, and summaries that translate
financial results into actionable insights.
• Support the development and improvement of KPIs, dashboards, and reporting
tools.• Partner with Accounting to support close-related analysis and reconciliations.
Operational & Business Support
• Work with Operations, HR, Billing, and other departments to analyze revenue, labor
costs, productivity, and operational metrics.
• Assist in multi-location and segmented P&L reporting.
• Provide ad-hoc financial and operational analysis for strategic and tactical business
initiatives.
Systems & Process Support
• Assist in maintaining reporting systems, Power BI dashboards, and automated
workflows.
• Support process improvements that enhance reporting accuracy and operational
efficiency.
• Participate in system updates or data-related projects as required.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field required.
• 1–3 years of financial analysis or related experience preferred; strong internship or
co-op experience will be considered.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial and operational data.
• Proficiency in Excel required; exposure to Power BI, data modeling, or automation
tools is a plus.
• Familiarity with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with both financial and
non-financial teams.
• High attention to detail, strong organization, and willingness to learn complex
operations.
