About the Role:
As a CBRE Assistant Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for a combination of advanced facilities work in regulated spaces.
This job is a part of the Facilities Management functional area which focuses on all aspects of the operations of a set of assets, providing support to the Property Managers regarding all repairs and investment plans. This is a headquarters which will require a "white glove" service to the client.
What You’ll Do:- Will work in a headquarters environment with C-suite staff on-site.
- Manage painting and patchwork projects.
- Will have a significant amount of walking in the role to escort vendors and clients across the campus.
- Major repairs of architectural items, cabinets, doors, and windows.
- Direct the installation of shelving, tank holders, paper towel racks, coat hooks, and various items.
- Point of contact for all front-line clients on various requests.
- Coordinate with trades personnel on maintenance tasks, corrective, and preventative.
- Apply general knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish assigned tasks and solve routine problems.
- Have a broad knowledge of own job discipline and some knowledge of several job disciplines within the function.
- Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. May convince to reach an agreement.
- Impact the quality of own work and the work of others on the team.
- Work primarily within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
- Explain complex information to others in straightforward situations.
What You’ll Need:
- Prefer candidates with strong communication skills both written and verbal.
- Any CMMS experience helpful.
- Prefer candidates with third-party facilities management experience.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred with 2-5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
- Understanding of existing procedures and standards to solve slightly complex problems.
- Ability to analyze possible solutions using technical experience to apply appropriate judgment and precedent.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
- Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
- Advanced math skills. Ability to calculate complicated figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.
- Will lift 10# regularly and 50# on occasion.
- Will need a driver's license to travel to the various sites on the campus.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Assistant Facilities Manager position is $85,000 annually [or $40.87 per hour] and the maximum salary for the Assistant Facilities Manager position is $90,000 annually [or $43.27 per hour]. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program.
