Dodge Construction Network (Dodge) is seeking a Director of Website & SEO to lead the strategy, optimization, and operational management of Construction.com as a high-performing digital growth platform!

The Director, Website & SEO will serve as the business owner and product manager for the website, partnering across Product Marketing, Brand, Content, Web Development, and Marketing Operations to prioritize initiatives, improve user experience, drive conversion performance, and increase organic visibility. We are looking for someone who combines strong website product ownership, technical SEO expertise, analytics depth, and conversion optimization experience.

This role requires someone who can think strategically while still being hands-on in execution. As the Director, Website & SEO, you have the opportunity to own and shape the evolution of Construction.com as a critical growth platform for the business. This is a high visibility role across Marketing, Web Development, and executive leadership teams driving direct impact across SEO, conversion optimization, analytics, and customer experience. This is an opportunity to help modernize Dodge's search and website strategy as AI continues to reshape how buyers discover information online!

This is a full-time position and reports directly to the VP, Performance Marketing.

Preferred Location

This is a remote, home-office based role and candidates located in the continental United States will be considered.

Travel Requirements

Expected travel is minimal for this role.

Essential Functions

Website Product Ownership & Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Serve as the primary business owner and product manager for Construction.com, TheBluebook.com, and related web experiences

  • Partner across Product Marketing, Content, Brand, Web Development, and Marketing Operations to gather requirements and prioritize initiatives, in addition to contributing your own ideas to the backlog

  • Translate business needs into user stories, functional requirements, and development tickets

  • Manage and prioritize the website roadmap based on business impact, customer experience, SEO opportunity, and technical dependencies

  • Work closely with Web Development and Martech Operations teams on website infrastructure, integrations, tagging, tracking, and technical implementation

  • Ensure the website delivers a scalable, high-performing experience across acquisition, engagement, and conversion journeys

SEO Strategy & Execution

  • Own the overall SEO strategy, execution, and performance for Construction.com, Thebluebook.com, and other properties.

  • Lead both programmatic and non-programmatic SEO initiatives designed to drive qualified organic traffic and pipeline growth

  • Manage and optimize SEO strategies including:

  • Technical SEO improvements

  • Internal and external linking strategies

  • Site architecture and crawl optimization

  • "Money keyword" targeting and content optimization

  • Tear-down pages and competitive search experiences

  • Industry and solution-based landing pages

  • Partner closely with Product Marketing and Content Marketing to prioritize and launch new search-driven content initiatives

  • Stay current on search algorithm changes, SEO trends, and shifts in AI-driven search behavior

  • Help define and execute Dodge's AI Search Optimization / Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) strategy to improve visibility across AI-powered search experiences

Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO)

  • Partner with Performance Marketing team to improve website and landing page conversion performance

  • Identify opportunities to improve user experience, engagement, navigation, CTAs, and conversion flows

  • Develop and execute A/B testing and experimentation strategies across web and search landing pages

  • Continuously optimize conversion paths and user journeys using behavioral and analytical insights

Website Analytics & Measurement

  • Partner with Martech Analytics on website analytics strategy, implementation, governance, and reporting, including use of GA4 for website performance measurement and insights

  • Design dashboards and reporting frameworks that provide visibility into:

  • Traffic and engagement trends

  • Organic search performance

  • Conversion rates and funnel progression

  • Landing page effectiveness

  • SEO impact and contribution

  • Partner with Martech Operations and RevOps teams to ensure clean attribution, tagging, and tracking across the website ecosystem

  • Deliver actionable insights and recommendations to stakeholders and executive leadership

Education Requirement

Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related field or equivalent education and work experience.

Required Experience, Knowledge and Skills

  • 10+ years of experience in website management, SEO, digital growth, or related disciplines within B2B SaaS, technology, media, data platforms, or data-driven businesses

  • Experience serving as a website product owner or managing complex web ecosystems with multiple stakeholders

  • Strong expertise across technical SEO, content SEO, programmatic SEO, and modern search optimization strategies

  • Hands-on experience with GA4, website analytics, and performance reporting

  • Experience partnering closely with Development and technical teams on infrastructure, integrations, and implementation projects

  • Strong understanding of conversion rate optimization methodologies, testing frameworks, and user experience best practices

  • Comfortable balancing strategic planning with hands-on execution

  • Excellent prioritization, communication, and stakeholder management skills

  • Familiarity with CMS platforms, tag management systems, Martech infrastructure, and modern web architecture

  • Strong perspective on how AI is reshaping search behavior and discovery, including experience or interest in AI Search Optimization / AEO strategies

Preferred Experience, Knowledge and Skills

Experience within commercial construction, B2B marketplaces, media, or data platforms.

Salary Disclosure

Dodge Construction Network's compensation and rewards package for full time roles includes a market competitive salary, comprehensive benefits, and, for applicable roles, uncapped variable incentive plans or an annual discretionary performance bonus.
