Hiring for a A/R Specialist/Biller for a healthcare facility in Beverly, MA.
MUST have A/R and medical billing experience from a medical office! Pay: $27-29/hrSchedule: 40 hours/week M-F 8am-4:30pm Requirements :
- Must have recent medical billing experience
- 2 years recent experience at least!
- Claims experience
- HS diploma
- Epic experience preferred
- Comprehension of EOB's and invoices and understanding of reason codes and how they are to be allocated.
- Understanding of In Network and Out of Network relationship with providers and services
Responsibilities :
- Assistant to the biller/coder with daily responsibilities involved in revenue collection
- Research unpaid claims, rebills corrective claims electronically/manually, contacts payers for payment
- Maintains complete records on all accounts including, but not limited to, detailed documentation on all receivables assigned to
- Utilizes available resources to verify eligibility, coverage terms specifically pertaining to type of service
- Maintains a consistent level of professionalism at all times with client and third party entity
- Generates correspondence through the use of system letter, free form letters and email communication. All correspondence will reflect the company's mission statement and communicate the professionalism we pride ourselves in
- Follows company processes and procedures when recommending an account for escalation or legal action
- Maintains organizes and current physical files for open accounts in queue
- Other various duties, at the discretion of direct management
