QC Microbiology Analyst

We are seeking a detail-oriented Analyst I to support Quality Control Microbiological testing. This is a vital role ensuring the safety and compliance of drug substances and raw materials within a state-of-the-art cGMP and GLP environment.

responsibilities:

• Perform environmental monitoring (EM) in Grade B/A manufacturing areas, including air, particulate, and surface sampling.
• Execute QC testing for bioburden, microbial identification, growth promotion, and Endotoxin analysis.
• Manage sample logistics, including receiving manufacturing samples and coordinating shipments to contract laboratories.
• Review routine EM plates, lab data, logbooks, and documentation to support product release and trend reports.
• Author and update laboratory procedures while initiating incident reports for OOS results and investigations.
• ?Maintain QC lab readiness through housekeeping, instrument maintenance, and calibration coordination.

qualifications:

Qualifications :

• B.S. in Biology or Life Sciences (0-3 years biotech experience) OR an Associate degree (2-5 years direct biotech experience).
• Proven expertise in Aseptic technique and common microbiological testing.
• Proficiency in ALCOA+ principles and GxP documentation.
• Ability to gown for cleanroom activities and work in Grade B/A environments.
• Ability to work a schedule that includes regular weekend shifts.
