Industrial Hygiene Technician

• Conduct tasks related to abatement project monitoring pre-renovation/demolition inspections Indoor Air Quality Assessments (IAQ)/mold assessments and/or other project assignments as appropriate.
• Assist with the preparation of portions of pre-renovation/demolition and clearance reports IAQ/Mold assessments and/or other technical assessment reports
• Maintain consistent communication of project progress with the assigned project manager from start to finish of the project.
• Maintain assessment and monitoring equipment 
• Meet utilization and other performance metrics 
• Make employee safety a priority both in-house and on-site in accordance with corporate policy. 

Qualifications :

• Associates degree in environmental science or related field
• Ability/willingness for frequent regional travel for fieldwork up to 80% with some overnight shifts
• Valid drivers license with a safe driving record
• Excellent verbal written and interpersonal communication skills in English - good writing skills
• Proficiency in utilizing Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel Outlook etc.)
• Ability to perform complex tasks and handle multiple priorities

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of EPA OSHA regulations as well as local regulations and guidance documents.
• Able/willing to use Personal Protective Equipment including the use of respirators.
• Able to participate in medical surveillance including respirator fit testing and vaccinations.
• The ability to prepare clear concise oral and written reports.
• The ability to communicate clearly and effectively both orally and in writing and to maintain harmonious internal and external relationships.
• Competent in Microsoft Word and Excel for reporting and/or data entry.

Additional Information :

The pay range for this role is between $22 - $25 per hour.
