Senior Director, Finance Technology Transformation

A global, highly regulated company is accelerating a multi-year finance technology transformation with major enterprise system launches underway and additional implementations ahead. We are building a dedicated finance technology team to lead the end-to-end execution of our finance systems stack.

We are hiring a Senior Director, Financial Processes & Systems  to serve as a key member of the Finance leadership team. This leader will drive an enterprise-wide finance systems roadmap, ensure alignment with business priorities, and deliver scalable, future-ready solutions.

This role oversees systems supporting global planning, forecasting, consolidation, and reporting , and partners closely with senior Finance and IT stakeholders to improve capabilities, stabilize post-launch performance, and enhance user experience through automation, governance, and training.

What you’ll do

• Develop and execute a finance systems strategy supporting a best-in-class, agile finance organization.
• Partner with Finance and IT to deliver major system launches across ERP and EPM/PPM , including workforce planning solutions.
• Establish processes and operating rhythms to stabilize and enhance financial applications post-launch.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team (approx. 10 professionals).
• Oversee systems supporting financial close, consolidation, planning, and forecasting .
• Own finance master data governance (definitions, rules, hierarchies) and drive consistent global adoption.
• Support business growth through partnership on acquisitions/divestitures and new entity setups.
• Drive process improvements and automation to improve usability and adapt to evolving business needs.
• Build and maintain training strategies aligned with system releases and process changes.
• Manage external consulting partners to ensure timely, high-quality project delivery.

What we’re looking for

• Significant progressive experience in financial management and leadership experience.
• Extensive experience leading enterprise finance system implementations (ERP and EPM/PPM).
• Proven ability to deliver complex programs, launch systems successfully, and build high-performing teams.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication skills, and executive presence.
• Highly organized, results-driven leader with strong program execution discipline.
