Jira Integration Developer / Configuration Specialist

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Power BI & Jira Integration Developer / Configuration Specialist for one of their top financial services clients. This role will lead the integration and configuration of a new workflow solution as part of an initiative to modernize project management processes and governance. The ideal candidate will combine technical development skills with expertise in Power BI reporting and Jira integration, ensuring seamless data flow and actionable insights across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Workflow & Jira Integration

Configure and customize workflows in Fluid/Insights to meet governance and compliance requirements.

Integrate Jira with Fluid/Insights and other systems using APIs, automation rules, and connectors.

Troubleshoot and optimize Jira configurations to support project management and reporting accuracy.

Collaboration & Enablement

Work closely with internal teams and vendor developers for advanced customization and enhancements.

Provide technical documentation, training, and support to ensure successful adoption.

Pay ranges from $70-80/hr based on qualifications and years of experience

Skills and Requirements

Hands-on experience with Jira, Fluid or similar workflow tools.

Strong background in workflow development and system configuration.

Proven experience integrating tools with Jira and optimizing Jira workflows.

Solid understanding of Power BI development (data modeling, DAX, visualization).

Knowledge of project governance and SDLC processes. - Familiarity with PowerApps, Microsoft Project, and Excel.

• Experience in enterprise workflow automation and reporting.

• Knowledge of risk management frameworks and compliance requirements.
