About the Role
As a CBRE Mobile Technician, you will provide technical support across multiple sites, performing maintenance and repairs on building systems, equipment, and facilities. This position supports a major telecommunications client , with a focus on maintaining and servicing retail locations to ensure operational reliability and an exceptional customer-facing environment.
This job is part of CBRE's Engineering and Technical Services function, responsible for delivering preventive maintenance, repairs, and operational support across a portfolio of facilities. In this role, you will perform a variety of hands-on maintenance tasks including RTU servicing, light plumbing, electrical work, and general building maintenance .
To support your success in the role, CBRE provides a company vehicle, tools, gas card, P-card, iPhone, and iPad , equipping you with everything needed to efficiently manage your day-to-day responsibilities.
What You'll Do

Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on RTUs, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and building systems across multiple retail sites.

Complete general building maintenance tasks including light electrical repairs, plumbing fixes, and facility upkeep .

Review assigned work orders, estimate time and materials needed, and track work through to completion.

Assist with the installation, troubleshooting, and modification of building systems and equipment.

Inspect new and existing installations to ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations .

Support energy efficiency initiatives by ensuring systems are operating at optimal performance levels.

Respond to service requests and communicate effectively with clients, coworkers, and supervisors.

Maintain accurate documentation of completed work, materials used, and system conditions.

Follow established procedures to resolve routine maintenance issues while escalating more complex issues as needed.

Deliver high-quality work by adhering to defined processes, safety protocols, and service standards.
What You'll Need
-
High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of relevant experience ; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Universal EPA Certification required.

Valid Driver's License required (mobile role).

Experience working with HVAC systems (RTUs), electrical, plumbing, and general building maintenance preferred.

Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role, including standing, walking, climbing ladders, and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Ability to follow established procedures and complete tasks with attention to detail.

Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive, problem-solving mindset.

Basic math skills including the ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages and material estimates.

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00 per hour. The compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on several factors, including but not limited to the candidate's experience, education, skills, certifications, and geographic location, as well as internal equity and market data. This position may also be eligible for additional compensation, including overtime, bonuses, and a comprehensive benefits package, which may include medical, dental, vision, retirement savings, and paid time off.
