Quality Control Final Inspector

Position Summary
Our client is seeking a Quality Control Final Inspector to perform final inspections of precision electronic and electronic packaging products, ensuring compliance with engineering drawings, customer specifications, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform first article, in process, and final visual and dimensional inspections.
• Verify compliance with drawings, specifications, work instructions, and customer requirements.
• Inspect ceramic packages, machined components, welded assemblies, and electronic packaging.
• Document inspection results and nonconforming material.
• Operate precision inspection equipment, including calipers, micrometers, microscopes, optical comparators, height gauges, and pin gauges.
• Verify product labeling, packaging, and shipping documentation.
• Maintain compliance with ISO 9001, AS9100, MIL SPEC, and customer quality standards.
• Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality to resolve inspection issues.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of quality inspection experience in precision manufacturing, electronics, aerospace, semiconductor, or medical devices.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T.
• Proficiency with precision measuring equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP systems.

Preferred

• Experience with AS9100, ISO 9001, IPC standards, MIL STD inspection requirements, or ESD controlled manufacturing.
• Background in aerospace, defense, semiconductor, microelectronics, packaging, etc.
