The Opportunity

Flock Safety is looking to add an enthusiastic and agile Office Coordinator to our growing People Team. This role will report to our Manager of Employee Experience and will support both our main office location and administrative onboarding activities for incoming new hires. While Flock is a remote first company, the Office Coordinator is required to work on-site at our Boston, Massachusetts (Seaport) office Monday through Friday.

How You’ll Make An Impact

  • Coordinate the day to day office operations including, but not limited to: procuring parking passes, maintaining office access, greeting important visitors and clients, providing office tours, etc.
  • Coordinate preboarding communications and tasks for new hires prior to their start date including equipment requests, swag shipments, and incoming questions.
  • Host employee and customer events taking place in our Atlanta company headquarters including set up, tear down, and some event planning activities
  • Assist team members with event planning both in and outside of the office.
  • Coordinate preventative maintenance for the office suites as well as ongoing maintenance, housekeeping, and intake/distribution of mail and packages.
  • Process all invoicing and payments related to the role.
  • Order office supplies, receive shipments, and ensure everything is stocked (snacks and beverages included)
  • Assist with administrative upkeep of our co-working relationships around the country to provide remote employees with temporary workspaces when needed


The Skillset

  • Experience in office administration, retail, and/or hospitality
  • Possess a hospitality mindset and feel fulfilled when helping and supporting others
  • Biased toward operational excellence with a strong attention to detail
  • Love putting chaos to order, both IRL and digitally
  • Proficiency with Google Suite (Docs, Sheets)
  • Excitement about working on a fast-paced, constantly evolving product
  • Open to taking on additional responsibilities where needed
  • Proficiency with Navan and Coupa are a plus
  • Facilities management experience a plus

90 Days at Flock

First 30 Days

  • Build relationships with all office related vendors and serve as the main point of contact for all day to day needs
  • Assist with office events
  • Know how to handle the large amount of packages and mail we receive at the office


First 60 days

  • Become a familiar face at the office
  • Understand how to use Coupa to request credit cards and pay invoices
  • Deploy refined attrition and retention modeling into production for real-world impact


90 Days and beyond

  • Update Office Safety and Compliance Plan
  • Increasing Events and Engagement in the office


Salary & Equity

The salary for this role is $70,000, as well as stock options. When we determine compensation for a position, we consider market indicators such as industry benchmarks, geographic location, and the required experience and skills to be successful in the role. At Flock Safety, we compensate our employees fairly for their work. Base salary is determined by job-related experience, education/training, as well as market indicators.
