Shipping and Receiving Associate
📍 Location: Devens, MA
💵 Pay: $23–$26/hr
🕒 Schedule: Full-Time
We are seeking a Shipping and Receiving Associate to ensure accurate and timely shipment and receipt of materials and products, supporting our mission and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Unload trucks and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing lists.
- Pick, pack, and prepare products for shipment according to customer orders.
- Coordinate with production, quality, and sales teams to resolve inventory or documentation discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate inventory records (physical and system) for shipping/receiving activities; assist with inventory counts and reconciliation.
- Put away received goods in correct storage locations, ensuring lot numbers, revision levels, and serial numbers are tracked.
- Keep shipping/receiving dock and warehouse areas organized and compliant with 5S and safety standards.
Minimum Requirements
- Prior experience in shipping & receiving, warehouse operations, or logistics preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in labeling, counting, and documentation.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment required.
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
- Proficient computer skills: shipping software, inventory systems, MS Office (Excel, Word), and ERP systems (JobBOSS experience a plus).
Physical Demands
- Ability to stand and walk; lift and/or move up to 30 lbs.
- Specific vision abilities required: close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
- Occasional exposure to fumes or airborne particles; moderate noise level in the work environment.
