As Director of Rowing of a community boathouse in western Massachusetts (Springfield MA) you can expect: to apply and improve your abilities in community engagement, leadership, teamwork, fundraising, non-profit operations, youth development, program design, and more while supporting your Assistant Coaches. We need your organized methods, flexible attitude, energetic personality, sense of humor, and attenttion to deatil in our boathuose! :)

Our beautiful Western Massachusetts setting on the banks of the Connecticut River has a storied history of rowing spanning from the early 19th century through 2016 when we hosted the USRowing Annual Convention, to today.
Housing options from affordable to luxurious, and urban to countryside can be found just minutes from our historic boathouse.
Higher education opportunities abound from the nearby flagship campus of the University of Massachusetts to convenient private, technical, and community colleges.
The local economy is thriving, sparked by new construction and renovation from Union Station to MGM Springfield, the billion-dollar casino that calls Springfield home.
Our location on a riverfront bikepath is <2 miles from the city center and our international airport, Hartford/Springfield BDL, just 30 minutes away.
