HR Generalist

Description We are looking for an experienced HR Generalist to join our team in Cambridge, Massachusetts. This is a contract position within the non-profit sector, where you will play a key role in managing HR operations and ensuring smooth employee experiences. The ideal candidate will bring over seven years of expertise in human resources and a strong ability to handle diverse HR functions. Responsibilities: - Manage employee relations by addressing concerns and fostering a positive workplace environment. - Oversee HR administrative tasks, including recordkeeping and compliance with policies. - Coordinate and execute onboarding programs to ensure new hires integrate effectively into the organization. - Administer employee benefits programs and provide guidance on available options. - Utilize HRIS systems to maintain accurate employee data and streamline HR processes. - Support the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures. - Collaborate with management to address workforce planning and organizational needs. - Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations. - Conduct training sessions and workshops to enhance employee skills and knowledge. - Provide guidance and support to employees regarding HR-related inquiries. Requirements - Minimum of seven years of experience in human resources with a focus on attention to detail. - Strong expertise in employee relations and conflict resolution. - Proficiency in HR administration tasks and compliance management. - Proven ability to manage onboarding processes and employee integration. - Experience with benefits administration and employee guidance. - Familiarity with HRIS systems and data management. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
