Position Summary
We are seeking a relationship-driven and highly motivated Wealth Consultant to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about helping life science professionals build, protect, and optimize their financial future.
As a Wealth Consultant, you will work closely with founders, biotech executives, physicians, researchers, and emerging leaders in the life sciences industry to deliver personalized financial strategies across investments, retirement, tax planning, estate planning, protection strategies, and wealth preservation.
You will serve as a trusted advisor who combines financial expertise with empathy, strategic thinking, and a commitment to exceptional client service.
Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with clients in the life sciences sector
Develop personalized financial plans aligned with each client’s goals, priorities, and stage of life
Guide clients through investment planning, retirement strategies, risk management, estate considerations, and tax-efficient wealth solutions
Utilize Life Science Wealth’s “Science of Wealth” methodology to create actionable Roadmaps of Success
Conduct financial reviews and proactively identify opportunities to improve client outcomes
Collaborate with internal and external professionals including tax advisors, attorneys, and business consultants
Educate clients on financial concepts and strategies in a clear, approachable manner
Stay informed on financial markets, wealth management trends, and developments within the life sciences industry
Support business development initiatives through networking, referrals, and relationship-building activities
Deliver a high-touch client experience rooted in trust, professionalism, and integrity
What We’re Looking For
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field
Experience in financial planning, wealth management, advisory services, or relationship management
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to simplify complex financial topics for clients
Self-motivated with strong organizational and time-management abilities
Commitment to ethical conduct and fiduciary-minded service
Proficiency with CRM and financial planning software
Preferred Qualifications
CFP®, CFA®, CPA, or other financial industry designation
Experience working with professionals in biotech, pharmaceutical, healthcare, or life sciences industries
Existing network within the life sciences community
Securities and insurance licenses as applicable
