Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

BG Staffing is seeking an experienced Bilingual Apartment Occupancy Specialist to support an affordable housing community. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong compliance knowledge in Tax Credit (LIHTC) and Project-Based Section 8 housing.

Position Overview

The Occupancy Specialist will be responsible for managing resident files and ensuring full compliance with federal and tax credit regulations. This position plays a critical role in maintaining accurate certifications and providing excellent customer service to residents.

Key Responsibilities

• Process move-in applications for qualified households
• Complete annual and interim recertifications accurately and on time
• Ensure compliance with LIHTC and Project-Based Section 8 regulations
• Maintain organized and audit-ready resident files
• Communicate professionally with residents regarding eligibility, documentation, and recertification requirements
• Enter and maintain data using RealPage OneSite
• Work closely with on-site management to support occupancy goals

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Tax Credit (LIHTC) and Project-Based Section 8 housing
• Hands-on experience with annual and interim recertifications
• Strong knowledge of compliance and affordable housing regulations
• Familiarity with RealPage OneSite required
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
• Excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills
