Director, HCP Oncology Marketing
Education and Required Skills
• Bachelor of Science or Arts (or equivalent work experience), MBA preferred, with minimum 8+ years of commercial experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech, or other specialty healthcare industry, including 5 years in marketing
• Demonstrated ability to lead development of marketing strategies and lead execution of key tactics to drive adoption and growth of inline products in US specialty or biotech market; experience with hematology, oncology, or rare disease products strongly preferred
• Experience with various components of marketing mix (i.e., promotional approaches)—particularly HCP promotion and field-facing materials—and with prioritizing resources to most effective areas to drive results
• Strong project management skills with ability to effectively manage multiple competing priorities, external agencies and vendors, and promotional budgets
• Strong understanding of legal and regulatory environment in pharmaceutical promotion, pharma industry guidelines, and other compliance-related issues including experience taking marketing pieces through promotional review processes (Veeva Vault PromoMats preferred)
• Ability to collaborate and work cross-functionally to implement sales or marketing programs with measurable business impact in a heavily matrixed, fast-paced environment
• Ability to clearly communicate at all levels of the organization as well as with external audiences
Travel and Location
• Boston, MA-based or remote, with up to 25% travel required
Role Summary
The Director, HCP Oncology Marketing will support the development of marketing strategy and lead implementation of key tactics to support the US business.
The brand marketer will be supporting our targeted IDH solid tumor brands with and work on an exciting new product launch. This role reports to the Director of Marketing, Solid Tumor Franchise.
