Position Description
The Contract Lab Associate I performs assigned manufacturing support duties in a ISO 13485 environment.
The contract duration is 1 year with the possibility to convert to full time role.
Job performance will involve a variety of activities including:
- Ensure the cleanliness and availability of glassware and labware for production use.
- Operate autoclave and ensure sterility of equipment and associated labware.
- Operate Lancer glasswasher and ensure the cleanliness of labware.
- Ensure the Sanitization area is appropriately stocked.
- Prepare buffers and solutions.
- Communicate as a team member with other functional groups, via face to face, email and written reports.
This position will be hired through a third-party agency and is not directly employed by QIAGEN.
Position Requirements
Bachelor’s degree from four year college or university and/or combination of experience and training. A degree is not a requirement if there is a significant amount of direct experience.
- 0-2 years related life sciences experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

- Ability to participate with others as a member of the team to ensure that demanding and difficult projects are handled smoothly and cooperatively to enhance success of project and maintain strong relationships within all parts of company.

- Ability to work flexible hours to complete tasks as required
