We are seeking a Director, Digital Transformation Center to lead innovation across our U.S. Defense and Federal Civilian markets. This role reports directly to the Chief Digital Officer VP, Advanced Technology Group. It is a remote position within the U.S. and requires approximately 10% travel.

As the Director, Digital Transformation Center, you will focus on the identification and integration of capabilities to support large/technically complex opportunities serving Serco North America. Have strong background in Artificial Intelligence, advanced analytics, engineering, and digital modernization solutions for defense and civilian based operational missions. This position must provide proven success in developing new opportunities to transition Serco developed solutions and tools into existing US DoD and Federal Civilian contracts to meet the customer mission or expand the customer base. Have strong government and industry Research and Development technology background in Digital Modernization strategy. Must have proven success in advancing technology Readiness Levels (TRLs) and software transition competencies with the US Federal government.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead the product management of complex technology transitions in support of the Advanced Technology Group's development initiatives and Business Unit growth pipelines, encompassing new business pursuits and re-compete opportunities across the U.S. Federal Government and select international markets.

  • Drive technology assessment activities and foster synergy among engineering, technology, and programmatic disciplines while providing expertise and advising both internal to Serco, and external to federal and international customers.

  • Manage the Digital Transformation Center comprising of the Enterprise Software Factory, engineering development network, digital solutioning, and various supporting engineering disciplines.

  • Leverage domain expertise and professional networks to accelerate technology innovation and transition targets of opportunity.

To be successful in this role, you will have the following:

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance

  • U.S Citizenship Required

  • Must possess a Bachelor of Science degree in technical-related discipline

  • Minimum 10 years of specialized technical experience, including demonstrated success in research and development and digital engineering for U.S. Federal Government departments and agencies, with a strong focus on modern defense-based R&D initiatives

  • Domain knowledge and experience in digital engineering, artificial intelligence, and/or autonomous systems

  • Collaborative leadership skills, with the ability to partner effectively across executive teams and enable key projects and initiatives valued over $50M

  • Proven experience managing technology and integration strategies for large-scale programs of record ranging from $100M to $750M

  • Strategic planning and operational oversight, including developing and maintaining technology roadmaps, project plans, and budgets exceeding $8M, and developing and measuring performance objectives

  • Must have excellent communications skills (verbal and written) and highly effective interpersonal skills to engage confidently with technical leaders, business executives, customers, partners, and subcontractors

  • Ability to travel up to 10%

Salary range: The range for this position can be found at the top of this posting. This range is provided as a general guideline and represents a good faith estimate across all experience levels. Actual base salary will be determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the scope of the role, relevant experience, job-related knowledge, education and training, key skills, and geographic market considerations. For roles available in multiple states, the range may vary to reflect differences in local labor markets. In addition to base salary, eligible positions may include other forms of compensation such as annual bonuses or long-term incentive opportunities.
