Registered Nurse (RN) - Behavioral Health

Job Type: Day -Time |  Shift: Days (7 AM - 7 PM)

Salary Range: $42.55-57.45 Depending on Experience

$15,000 Sign on Bonus

Position Summary:

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides direct patient care and clinical coordination within our behavioral health units, delivering quality, compassionate care for child (ages 5-17), adult, geriatric and forensic patients. You’ll work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized treatment plans while maintaining a safe, therapeutic environment.

Reports to: Chief Nursing Officer
FLSA: Non-Exempt

Education & Licensure Requirements:

Education:

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing program (ADN) Required , BSN Preferred.

Licensure:

• Current unencumbered RN license in the state of Massachusetts (or compact state as applicable) Required .

Certifications:

• BLS (CPR) - Required upon hire.

• CPI or Handle With Care - Preferred .

• ACLS - Preferred .

• CRRN - Preferred .

Required Skills & Experience:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program - Required.

• 6+ months Med/Surg experience - Preferred.

• Behavioral Health or Psychiatric experience - Preferred.

• Strong communication, assessment, and de-escalation skills .

• Calm, compassionate, and focused under pressure.

• Team-oriented with a passion for patient-centered care.

• Understanding of Trauma -informed care (Preferred).

Department Overview:

Our Behavioral Health Department is a 150-bed inpatient facility designed to foster healing, safety, and innovation.
With a 1:6-1:8 nurse-to-patient ratio , our nurses provide specialized, compassionate care across children, adults, geriatrics, and forensic units.
