Project Manager III/Security Project Manager
Akkodis is seeking a Project Manager III/Security Project Manager for a Contract with a client in Marlborough, MA. You will oversee the planning and execution of security solutions, ensuring compliance with industry standards and managing budgets and timelines effectively.
Rate Range: $55/hour to $62/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Project Manager III/Security Project Manager job responsibilities include:
Plan, execute, and manage global security system projects, ensuring alignment with industry standards and client requirements.
Define project scope, timelines, resources, and budgets, while assessing risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
Coordinate with stakeholders, technical teams, vendors, and manufacturers to deliver effective security solutions such as surveillance, access control, and alarm systems.
Manage multiple simultaneous projects globally, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
Attend construction and installation meetings, assist install teams with programming, resource coordination, and testing/commissioning.
Prepare and maintain project documentation, including meeting minutes, risk logs, decision logs, and validation reports, while ensuring compliance with organizational policies.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in project management, Engineering, or a related field (master’s preferred).
6–8 years of experience in project management, with at least 4 years in security systems projects.
Proven experience managing global security system projects, including surveillance, access control, and alarm systems.
Strong risk management, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with the ability to interpret blueprints and technical documentation.
