Description:
The Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for completing work orders, preventative maintenance, and tenant requests in a timely fashion to ensure excellent customer service and that our properties are safe, clean, and well maintained.
Requirements:Position Details
- Full time (40 hours/week) with occasional overtime opportunities possible and part time schedules available also
- In-person work at job sites in and around the greater Boston area (travel required, company vehicle provided). Occasional travel to RI sites may be required.
Responsibilities:
- Complete work and repair orders in a timely fashion
- Estimate time and extent of repairs
- Perform routine preventive maintenance
- Maintain material and supply inventory
- Oversee work performed by outside contractors as necessary
? Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must have a clean driving record and current driving license in good standing to operate company vehicle
- CORI / Background check required
- Previous experience in maintenance or other related fields
- Knowledge of plumbing, carpentry, painting and electrical systems
- Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment
- Superior customer service skills
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Deadline and detail-oriented
