Project Manager
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Project Manager in Quincy, MA. Responsibilities:
- Project Manager will lead and manage logistics and retail projects involving Oracle POS and multi-carrier logistics solutions
- Oversee integration efforts with Oracle and ProShip systems to optimize carrier selection and reduce costs for retail stores
- Collaborate closely with the logistics team, Oracle stakeholders, and system integrator (Zenzar) to ensure project success
- Coordinate with carriers such as FedEx, UPS, and others for seamless implementation
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and deliverables
- Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to keep projects on track
- As a Project Manager, you will facilitate communication between technical teams, vendors, and business stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with project objectives, budgets, and timelines
- Provide regular status updates and documentation for leadership and stakeholders
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in logistics or retail environments
- Strong knowledge of Oracle POS and logistics systems
- Familiarity with carrier operations (FedEx, UPS, etc.)
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Strong understanding of cost optimization strategies in logistics
- Ability to manage complex projects with multiple vendors and stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and remotely for project duration
- PMP or similar project management certification (preferred)
- Experience with ProShip and multi-carrier shipping solutions (preferred)
