Travel Speech Language Pathologist Acute Care Job
Speech Language Pathologist, Acute Care travel assignment in Boston, MA. Start date: 12/14/2026 for 26 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,266–$2,343 per week with guaranteed hours of 40. Shift: 8-hour days, Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Work setting: hospital (acute care) delivering pediatric SLP services in inpatient and outpatient contexts. Key Highlights

- Local rate note: Local candidates within 50 miles will be paid at the local rate, which is $10 less per week than the posted rate Responsibilities
- Provide pediatric speech-language pathology evaluations and therapy for feeding and swallowing disorders in an acute care setting, with a focus on pediatric patients.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans; monitor progress and adjust goals; document care in the EMR.
- Conduct bedside swallow evaluations and coordinate with team for MBS when indicated; participate in care planning and discharge planning.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, attend all required team meetings, and support family education and coaching.
- Maintain compliance with department standards, complete onboarding training, and demonstrate competencies as directed by supervision. Requirements
- Education: Independent with completion of Pediatric
- Licensure/Certifications: MA State Licensure (Speech-Language Pathologist), ASHA Certification, Current CPR Certification
- Experience: 3+ years pediatric feeding and swallowing experience
- EMR: EPIC experience required
- Other: Ability to work in inpatient and outpatient pediatric settings; willing to transition as needed and participate in team meetings Benefits and Support
