About the Role

JD Software is seeking an Implementation Analyst to join our talented and growing team. This role is a great opportunity for analytical thinkers who enjoy solving complex problems, understanding business processes, and designing system logic. You will play a key role in the implementation and configuration of our software platform for government clients.

As an Implementation Analyst, you will work closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to translate business needs into system rules, workflows, and configurations. Key Responsibilities

• Configure and customize our electronic licensing platform using a combination of built-in tools and database operations.
• Analyze client requirements and translate them into structured system configurations, including conditional logic, data mappings, and workflow states.
• Develop a strong working knowledge of the arc eLicensing platform and its configuration capabilities.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure configurations align with client needs and overall system architecture.
• Support testing activities by creating and executing test plans to validate system behavior.
• Investigate and troubleshoot configuration-related issues by examining logic, data structures, and rule execution.
• Assist in documenting business requirements, configuration decisions, and system changes.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong analytical skills and the ability to reason through business rules, logical conditions, and workflow scenarios.
• Detail-oriented, with the ability to identify edge cases and evaluate how rule changes impact the system.
• Ability to understand and work with structured information such as datasets, Boolean logic, and conditionals.
• Comfort presenting to external stakeholders, including government officials
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• BS in a relevant discipline such as Mathematics or Computer Science OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Experience with a Relational Database Management System (such as Postgres, Oracle, SQLServer, or MySQL) a plus.
