Job DescriptionWe are seeking a driven Website eCommerce Architect to coordinate the planning and improvement of our website and eCommerce marketing efforts. Critical thinking, data-driven decisions, hands-on execution to improve online shopping and increase revenue in Diagnostics & Genomics. The ideal candidate is a digital-savvy leader with expertise in website management, digital marketing, and customer experience. The candidate would also be familiar with managing multiple websites on various platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- eCommerce Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive eCommerce strategies to achieve revenue, growth, and customer acquisition goals.
- Website Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and optimization of the company’s eCommerce website to ensure an engaging and seamless user experience.
- Performance Optimization: Implement and analyze A/B testing, user experience design improvements, and conversion rate optimization initiatives.
- KPIs: Deliver ongoing critical metrics to internal partners that show the trends and performance of our online shopping experience and presence identifying trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Digital Campaigns: Coordinate with the marketing program management team to plan and carry out campaigns that enhance website traffic, engagement, and sales.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal teams (e.g. IT, product, and marketing) and external vendors to ensure the smooth execution of eCommerce initiatives.
- Budget Management: Manage the eCommerce budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and alignment with business priorities.
- Technology Integration: Evaluate and recommend new eCommerce tools, platforms, or integrations to enhance website functionality and performance.
- Leadership: Work collaboratively with a team of eCommerce specialists or digital marketers, fostering professional growth and collaboration.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in eCommerce, digital marketing, or website management roles, with at least 2 years in a senior or leadership position
- Skills: Expertise in eCommerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce), website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics), and digital marketing integrations via HubSpot, Pardot, and Salesforce
- Proven track record of driving online sales and achieving critical metrics
- Strong understanding of SEO, SEM, and digital advertising
- Proficiency in A/B testing, CRO, and website UX/UI standard methodologies
- Excellent project management and organizational skills
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Analytical attitude with a focus on achieving results
