Job Title: CT Radiologic Technologist

Location: Hyannis, MA

Duration: 13 weeks (extendable)

Shift: 8x5 Day/Evening

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled CT Radiologic Technologist to perform advanced computed tomography (CT) procedures. The technologist will ensure high-quality imaging, patient safety, and compliance with all radiologic standards. This role requires technical expertise, independent judgment, and strong attention to detail in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform CT scanning procedures following prescribed ionizing radiologic techniques.

• Operate the CT control console and peripheral equipment accurately and safely.

• Select appropriate imaging techniques and adjust equipment settings to achieve optimal results.

• Position patients properly, using immobilization devices as needed, to obtain high-quality images.

• Explain procedures to patients, answer questions, and ensure patient comfort and cooperation.

• Assist physicians or nurses in monitoring patients during procedures.

• Maintain accurate records of scans and any contrast media administered.

• Apply principles of radiographic protection to minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff.

• Evaluate images for technical quality and completeness.

• Maintain departmental records, comply with infection control, and follow hospital policies and procedures.

• Participate in continuing education and professional development activities to meet ARRT and state licensing requirements.

• Uphold ethical standards and ensure patient confidentiality at all times.

• Perform other duties as assigned to support departmental operations.

Education & Experience:

• High school diploma or GED.

• Graduate of an AMA-accredited Radiography Program.

• Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required.

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Radiologic Technologist or 1 year at the facility or 1 year recent CT technologist experience within the last 5 years.

Certifications & Licensure:

• AHA BLS Certification.

• Valid Massachusetts State License in Radiation Control.

• ARRT Certification in Radiography.
