Job Overview
- The Senior Systems Engineer will join the client's team to deliver best‐in‐class beverage systems. In this role, you will serve as the technical product owner for a cross‐functional team, ensuring products meet feature, functionality, stakeholder, cost, and schedule requirements.
- This role works closely with the Client's Asia Development Center and contract manufacturers to transition products from development to production. Strong communication skills are essential, as this position partners across multiple functions and time zones to align on program goals.
- This position is based in Burlington, MA and follows a hybrid schedule, requiring a minimum of three days per week onsite, with flexibility to support global collaboration.
Must‐Have Qualifications
- BS or MS in Engineering with 10+ years of engineering experience, preferably in high‐volume consumer product development
- Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
- Experience translating consumer and stakeholder needs into system and subsystem requirements
- Proven experience creating system architectures and managing interfaces across subsystems
- Strong background leading DFMEA activities and developing validation and risk mitigation plans
- Hands‐on experience building prototypes, test fixtures, and running experiments
- Ability to work onsite in Burlington, MA at least three days per week
- Willingness to travel internationally 10–20% in two‐week intervals
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience leading engineering development using structured problem‐solving methodologies (e.g., LAMDA, DMAIC)
- Expert‐level 3D CAD modeling experience (SolidWorks preferred)
- Experience using statistical software tools such as JMP, Minitab, or R
- General understanding of systems modeling and finite element methods
- Broad understanding of multiple engineering disciplines with deep expertise in one or more
- Experience chartering R&D initiatives and engaging external development partners
- Experience supporting continuous improvement initiatives and evolving engineering best practices
