What you’ll bring:
- Experience working as a paraprofessional, particularly in school settings
- Ability to assist students with classroom assignments and personalized learning activities
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, teachers, and staff
- Patience, flexibility, and a passion for guiding children of diverse backgrounds
- Ability to remain calm and positive when managing challenging behaviors
- General familiarity with special education procedures (a plus, but not required)
Key responsibilities:
- Support students with academic tasks, social skills, and daily classroom routines
- Assist classroom teachers with lesson preparation and classroom management
- Provide one-on-one or small group guidance for students needing additional support
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment throughout the school day
- Monitor student progress and communicate observations to teachers and relevant staff
- Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and school activities as requested
