Dental hygienist

We are seeking a dedicated Dental Hygienist to join our practice temporarily, part-time, or full-time. This is a wonderful opportunity to work flexible hours in a supportive environment where your skills and patient care philosophy will be highly valued. You will play a pivotal role in maintaining our patients’ oral health and educating them on optimal dental care.

Dental hygienist

Provide professional dental hygiene services including cleaning, scaling, root planing, and fluoride treatments.

Ensure patients feel comfortable and well-informed prior to examinations and treatments.

Conduct initial oral screenings and review oral health history to identify issues such as gingivitis, caries, and periodontitis.

Take dental impressions and X-rays as needed.

Assist dentists in selecting appropriate treatments for various dental diseases, including oral cancer screenings.

Educate patients of all ages on proper oral hygiene techniques and post-treatment care instructions.

Adhere strictly to sterilization protocols and maintain dental instruments and equipment.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient documentation and charts.

Monitor and manage dental supplies inventory.

full-time $50 - $60 per hour

Mondays and Wednesdays: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Thursdays: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Weekend hours available if interested

• Experienced Dental Hygienist (1+ years)
• Licensed dental hygienist
• Local Anesthesia Certification

Valid license to practice as a Registered Dental Hygienist in Massachusetts.

Local Anesthesia Certification is required.

Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and health and safety regulations in dentistry.

Entry-level or experienced dental hygienist welcome to apply.

Strong communication skills and a friendly, patient demeanor.

Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate clinical records.

Experience preparing and maintaining dental equipment.

Experience with digital scanning technology.

Knowledge of Invisalign treatments is a plus.

Previous experience working in a family dental practice environment.
