Project Estimator
Seeking a detail-oriented Project Estimator to join our team. This role is ideal for a highly motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced residential construction environment and is committed to delivering accurate, high-quality estimates that support our reputation for excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review architectural plans, and develop specifications for custom residential home builds
- Prepare precise cost estimates for materials, labor, and subcontractor work
- Solicit and evaluate bids from vendors and subcontractors
- Collaborate closely with project manager to align budgets with project goals
- Identify cost risks, value-engineering opportunities, and efficiency improvements
- Maintain and update pricing databases and historical cost information
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in residential construction estimating (custom homes preferred)
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Excel (JobTread a plus)
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- A proactive mindset and commitment to continuous improvement
