Key Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse in Birthing Unit
- Assist in the labor and delivery process
- Provide comprehensive care to mothers and newborns
- Perform circulating duties during procedures
- Monitor and report on patient's condition
- Coordinate with healthcare team members
Requirements of the Registered Nurse in Birthing Unit
- 2 years of nursing experience in Labor and Delivery
- Experience in circulating is a MUST
- Valid RN license
- BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
- Recent EFM certification (at least intermediate level required)
