Production Tech 2nd shift and 3rd Shift

Location: Andover, MA

2nd Shift M-F 3:3-pm- 12am

$22 per hour 2nd Shift- $24.00 per hour 3rd Shift

Job Overview

Seeking for Technicians who have done testing utilizing scopes and meters

Principal Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the set-up and initial testing of circuits, components, instruments and mechanical assemblies
• Follows test specifications, methods and procedures from blueprints, drawings and diagrams
• May test assemblies and|or final systems
• May complete rework on assemblies and|or systems as a result of testing
• Assists in set-up of specialized test equipment

Required Skills:

• Associate degree, military technical training or their equivalent vocational training required
• 0-1 year of related experience required
• May require experience in testing digital and|or analog systems
• Ability to read drawings and use measurement instruments

Physical Demands & Working Conditions:

• Perform activities such as sitting, standing, or typing for extended periods of time
• Regularly requires good manual dexterity and coordination
• Frequently positions self to perform tasks and positions objects below, at, and above shoulder level
• Regularly requires manual dexterity and coordination of objects below, at and above shoulder level
• Must be able to communicate information and ideas so others will understand
• Must be able to exchange accurate information
• Operates in a [professional office and|or laboratory|manufacturing] environment
• Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery
• Ability to observe documents and details at close range (within a few feet of the observer)
• Dedication to safety to mitigate hazards including handling mechanical and electrical hardware, high voltage, gas, water, and heat
• Noise level in the work environment is usually average
