Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Valid state licensure to practice as an SLP
- Previous experience in educational or pediatric settings preferred
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to develop and adapt individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to creating an inclusive learning environment
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
- Develop and implement targeted therapy plans based on individual student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to provide ongoing progress updates and support
- Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, treatment sessions, and student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings, team discussions, and school-based initiatives
- Deliver direct therapy as outlined in IEPs in both individual and group settings
- Provide recommendations for classroom strategies and modifications
- Stay current on best practices and participate in relevant professional development opportunities
