Take the next step in your career as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) with this rewarding opportunity working with K-2 students in a supportive elementary school setting near Cambridge, MA. This full-time, contract role is designed for professionals seeking to make a meaningful impact by providing intensive behavioral and classroom support for high-needs students with autism.

In this role, you will:

  • Deliver one-on-one and small group behavior intervention to students with significant needs, following individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
  • Accurately track student behavior and progress, utilizing evidence-based strategies and data collection systems
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, school staff, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure the highest quality support
  • Implement de-escalation and crisis intervention techniques as appropriate to maintain a safe classroom environment
  • Participate in regular meetings and contribute to ongoing team discussions for student progress and support

Key qualifications include:

  • Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
  • Experience working in a school-based special education environment strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated skill supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and intensive behavioral needs
  • Familiarity with Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), effective behavior tracking, and de-escalation methods
  • SafetyCare training is a major plus
  • Outstanding communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
