Responsibilities

• Create and implement engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans and activities
• Foster a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment
• Support children’s emotional, social, cognitive, and physical development
• Observe and assess student progress through documentation and communication
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and team members
• Maintain classroom organization, cleanliness, and licensing standards
• Collaborate with staff to strengthen curriculum and classroom practices
• Participate in trainings and professional development opportunities

QualificationsRequired

• Massachusetts EEC Certification (Infant/Toddler or Preschool, based on position)
• EEC StrongStart Essentials 2.0
• Active PQR Number
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Dependable, organized, and professional attitude
• Passion for early childhood education

Preferred

• Previous childcare center or classroom experience
• College or university coursework in Early Childhood Education or related field
• Experience with diverse learners and inclusive classroom practices
