WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, the Material Handler is a key member of our operations team and performs all bulk chemical transfer duties as required.

• Loads and unloads rail cars and trucks with company product or raw materials
• Monitors and maintains tank farm inventory levels
• Mixes and repackages products, and fills raw material containers with new stock
• Prepares product orders and special blends for customers
• Monitors any maintenance work scheduled in assigned area

PHYSICAL DEMANDS and ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS:

• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis
• Must have experience working outdoors
• Physical ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
• Test negative on the company’s drug tests.
• Exposure to fumes, dirt, noise and hazardous chemicals daily. May require safety equipment and/or precautions.
  
  

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

• Chemical handling and rail transfer experience an asset
• Flexibility for weekend work, as needed
• Ability to read, write, count, understand, and speak English
• Mathematical ability/work with numbers
• Ability to learn accurate methods for handling hazardous materials and wastes, with training.
• Ability to pass respirator clearance
• Ability to operate an industrial powered lift truck or forklift according to company procedures and governmental regulations

PAY & BENEFITS:
The salary range for this position is $45830 - $57290. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s relevant experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location. [In addition, this position is eligible for incentive pay]. Available employee benefits include health, vision, and dental. We also provide 401k matching for retirement and paid time off.
