Certified Forklift Operator

Job Description:

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Forklift Operator to efficiently manage the storage, handling, and distribution of materials in their warehouse. The ideal candidate will possess a valid driver's license and have a strong background in operating forklifts in an industrial setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate forklifts to move, locate, relocate, and stack products.
• Load and unload products from trucks and containers.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and report any maintenance needs.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper storage of materials.
• Follow all company safety protocols and procedures.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.
• Assist in other warehouse duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a forklift operator, preferably in a chemical or industrial environment.
• Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and protocols.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in varying temperatures.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in a chemical fertilizing or similar industry.
• Knowledge of inventory management systems.
• Basic computer skills.

Working Conditions:

• Full-time position with potential for overtime.
• Warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures and noise levels.
• Physical demands include lifting, carrying, and moving heavy materials.
