Remote LICSW Therapist | Massachusetts Full-Time Clinical Social Work Position

Job Summary

This position offers a full-time remote opportunity for a Massachusetts Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker who wants to provide therapy in a telehealth setting. The role involves working directly with clients through virtual sessions, helping them address mental health concerns, understand patterns, and build strategies that support daily functioning.

You will manage the clinical side of care from assessment through ongoing treatment, while using secure systems for scheduling, sessions, and documentation.

Work Setting: Remote / Telehealth
Position Type: Full-Time
Salary: $115,000–$120,000 per year with full benefits
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Provide teletherapy sessions for individuals seeking mental health support
• Evaluate client concerns, symptoms, strengths, and treatment needs
• Build individualized care plans that reflect each client’s goals
• Use appropriate clinical interventions during virtual therapy sessions
• Help clients work through stress, anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, relationship strain, and major life changes
• Maintain clear documentation for sessions, assessments, treatment plans, and updates
• Recognize changes in client risk and respond according to clinical protocols
• Protect client privacy and follow HIPAA standards in all remote work
• Maintain professional communication and reliable availability for scheduled client care

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited program
• Active and unrestricted Massachusetts LICSW license
• Previous experience providing therapy, counseling, or clinical social work services
• Comfortable delivering care through telehealth platforms
• Strong assessment, documentation, and treatment planning skills
• Ability to work independently while maintaining professional clinical standards
• Reliable internet connection and a private workspace for remote sessions
