Position Overview
Our client, a growing organization in the Fall River area, is seeking a Human Resources Assistant to join their HR team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their HR career who is eager to learn and grow in a collaborative, hands-on environment. The hiring manager is open to candidates with 1-2 years of HR experience as well as recent graduates with HR internship experience.
Key Responsibilities

Provide administrative support to the Human Resources department

Assist with employee onboarding, orientation, and offboarding processes

Maintain and update employee files and HR records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality

Support payroll, benefits administration, and timekeeping tasks as needed

Help coordinate interviews, schedules, and communication with candidates

Respond to basic employee HR-related questions and escalate when appropriate

Assist with HR projects, audits, and compliance initiatives

Support training, engagement, and internal communication efforts
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred

1-2 years of HR or administrative experience or recent graduates with relevant HR internship experience

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); HRIS experience is a plus

Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism

Eagerness to learn and grow within the HR function

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fall River, MA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
