We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer specializing in Mobile Development to design, develop, and maintain secure, high-performance mobile applications that integrate with advanced Web3 technologies like blockchain and post-quantum cryptography. The role focuses on delivering user-friendly solutions for critical sectors, including the U.S. Department of Defense and critical infrastructure companies.
An ideal candidate for this role is a proactive problem-solver with a collaborative mindset, strong attention to detail, and a passion for innovation in secure, cutting-edge technologies.In this role, you will:
- Design and develop user-friendly, performant mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including backend developers, UI/UX designers, and product managers, to define and implement features.
- Implement secure communication protocols and data handling techniques
- Integrate mobile applications with blockchain technologies and Web3 infrastructure.
- Optimize application performance and ensure compatibility with various devices and platforms.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive unit and end-to-end tests to ensure application functionality, reliability, and scalability across all supported devices and platforms.
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code, following industry best practices.
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging of mobile applications to ensure a seamless user experience.
What you will bring to this role:
- Proven experience in mobile application development for iOS and/or Android platforms.
- Expertise in mobile programming languages, including Swift for iOS and Java or Kotlin for Android.
- Proficient in TypeScript for building scalable and maintainable applications, as well as Python for backend development, scripting, or data-driven tasks.
- Hands-on experience with mobile development frameworks and tools such as Ionic, with additional knowledge of React Native, Flutter, or other cross-platform frameworks being a plus.
- Strong understanding of mobile UI/UX design principles and the ability to create visually appealing, user-friendly interfaces.
- Familiarity with blockchain technologies, distributed computing, or Web3 frameworks is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in secure application development, including encryption techniques and secure API integrations.
- Knowledge of integrating RESTful APIs and working with backend systems.
- Comfortable using version control systems like Git and following Agile development methodologies.
- A passion for innovation and staying updated on emerging technologies, including post-quantum cryptography, blockchain, and verifiable credentials.
