Account Manager
Now Hiring! Events Industry Account Manager
Location: Remote ( Mid-Atlantic or New England region only )
Salary: $50k - $60k/yr.
Job Summary: Reporting to the Director of Sales, the Account Manager is the front line of service and communication with our client base. This role is responsible for developing business relationships, educating clients about our products and services, consulting on product selection, processing order inquiries, moving inquiries through the revision & confirmation process, securing deposit payments, and ensuring a satisfactory customer experience throughout all phases of the rental process. The Account Manager conducts extensive communication both externally and internally, and is accountable for a high degree of accuracy across all aspects of the job. To be successful in this role, one must have a minimum of two years experience in the event or hospitality industry. Specifically in one of the following functions: Sales, Design Coordination, Design Production, Catering Management, Operations Leadership.

What You’ll Do :
- Conduct market research to identify new or undeveloped business opportunities
- Develop relationships with new leads
- Educate customers about our products and services, how to work with rental products, and which products are appropriate for each use case
- Manage expectations and timelines surrounding the rental process
- Receive, input, and manage order inquiries in IntelliEvent software system
- Follow up & confirm pending orders to ensure timely processing through our Operational protocols
- Liaise with Operations / Production regarding product availability, fulfillment logistics, inventory, aberrations, etc to strategize optimal client experience
- Process deposit payments, providing receipts & confirmation of order reservation
- Manage customer data including: accurate contact information for all parties within an account, signed Rental Agreements, completed CC Authorization Forms, valid tax forms, etc.
- Assist with troubleshooting issues with delivery, product quality, customer (dis)satisfaction, returns issues, missing items, etc.
- Represent Nuage Designs publicly at industry events and online via any publicly-available social
media platforms (if shared)
What You’ll Need :
- Bachelor’s Degree from four year college or university desired
Minimum 2 years experience in the event or hospitality Industry in one of the following functions: Sales, Design Coordination, Design Production, Catering Management, Operations Leadership
- Ability to calculate figures such as discounts and percentages
- Proficiency with basic geometric functions is a plus.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business documents
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus
- Proficiency in IntelliEvent software
- Experience with CRM systems and order management software
- Ability to learn and quickly develop proficiency in new systems is expect
