Travel Registered Nurse ER Job

TLC Nursing
Needham, MA
Embark on a dynamic Travel ER RN assignment in Needham, Massachusetts, beginning on 12/15/2025 and stretching across a flexible duration measured in weeks. This is your invitation to unleash life-saving care in one of the nation’s most historic and vibrant regions, where your expertise will calm, stabilize, and empower patients in moments of crisis. As you deliver high-stakes clinical excellence, you’ll also savor the New England charm—where fall foliage paints the countryside, seaside weekends near Cape Cod beckon, and the Boston metro pulse blends with quaint towns, gardens, museums, and spirited local events. This is more than a job; it’s a chance to grow your ER career while exploring a state renowned for its educational institutions, cultural depth, and scenic beauty.

Massachusetts offers compelling location benefits for travel nurses, with Needham as an excellent hub just a short ride from Boston’s world-class hospitals, eateries, parks, and waterfronts. You’ll enjoy suburban convenience paired with urban access, outstanding dining, and a thriving arts and sports scene. For travel professionals, the program also opens opportunities to work in varied locations across the U.S., expanding your clinical perspective, refining adaptive critical-care skills, and enriching your professional journey. Expect streamlined onboarding, robust safety protocols, and the support you need to navigate new environments with confidence. Our team prioritizes your comfort and professional growth, helping you balance demanding shifts with time to explore local treasures—historic coastlines, lush trails, and quintessential New England communities.

Role specifics and benefits:
- Key responsibilities: As a Travel ER RN, you’ll perform rapid patient assessments, triage diverse emergent cases, and deliver time-critical interventions under pressure. You’ll administer medications, establish IV access, monitor vital signs, and participate in Code Blue activations, always prioritizing patient safety and family communication. You’ll collaborate closely with physicians, physician assistants, respiratory therapists, and case managers to develop and implement individualized care plans. Documentation in electronic health records, adherence to evidence-based protocols, and rigorous infection control practices are essential. Beyond clinical duties, you’ll mentor new staff, share best practices, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement in fast-paced, high-acuity environments.
- Professional growth: This assignment is designed to broaden your ER specialization, enabling skill refinement in trauma triage, rapid sequence intubation support, pain management strategies, and pediatric/adult universal protocols. You’ll have access to ongoing education credits, certification refreshers, and opportunities to pursue specialty credentials within the ER, such as trauma or flight nursing pathways, with pathways to leadership roles as you demonstrate reliability, critical thinking, and compassionate leadership.
- Competitive benefits: The engagement provides a competitive weekly pay rate ranging from $2,638 to $2,717, with potential enhancements based on shift type and assignment specifics. A sign-on bonus is available to recognize your expertise and commitment. You’ll also receive housing assistance to ease relocation logistics, helping you secure comfortable, conveniently located lodging near your clinical site. There are extension opportunities for continued residence within the program, enabling you to deepen your ER experience across multiple facilities and settings.
- Comprehensive support: Travel with confidence thanks to 24/7 support from a dedicated team that keeps your assignments running smoothly, from credential verification and onboarding to travel arrangements and on-site integration. We provide robust travel logistics, onboarding guidance, and ongoing clinical and professional support so you can focus on delivering top-tier patient care. Our mission is to empower you to excel in dynamic environments while feeling secure and supported every step of the way.
- Work-life and environment: You’ll practice in state-of-the-art emergency departments that value teamwork, patient-centered care, and rapid decision-making. The assignment offers flexible scheduling within the ER’s demanding cycles, helping you manage fatigue and maintain peak clinical performance. You’ll operate within a culture of respect, mentorship, and recognition that celebrates your contributions to patient outcomes and family reassurance during difficult moments.
