Prep Cook:

Blue Hill Country Club is hiring a motivated, experienced Prep Cook to join our kitchen team in Canton, MA.

The Role:

As a Prep Cook, you will support daily kitchen operations across multiple stations during meal service and assist with food preparation for banquets and events. This is a hands-on position in a fast-paced, team-oriented kitchen.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare ingredients including washing, peeling, cutting, and chopping.
• Measure, portion, and assemble ingredients according to recipes.
• Store food properly to maintain freshness and food safety standards.
• Assist line cooks and chefs during service as needed.
• Clean and maintain kitchen equipment and work areas.
• Label, stock, and organize ingredients and supplies.
• Follow food safety and sanitation procedures at all times.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment.

Requirements:

• 1+ year of experience in a prep cook or similar kitchen role.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. overhead and move up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable working in a commercial kitchen environment.

Compensation: $20–$24 per hour
